These terms govern your use of Kohunter, operated by Vincent Morin, independent worker registered in Portugal (NIF 309129800), Rua Giovanni Antinori 1, 1300-670 Lisboa, Portugal. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Kohunter estimates the chip value of a knockout bounty in tournament poker, from either a quick-interpolated simulation curve ("fast mode") or an exact calculation from numbers read off a screenshot you provide ("precise mode"). It is an informational calculation tool — a calculator doing arithmetic a player could do by hand, faster. It gives a value, never an action to take. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any poker room, and it never automates play, reads a poker client's memory, or interacts with a poker room in any way — it works from numbers already visible on your screen.
Kohunter's output is an estimate or a calculation based on the inputs you give it (or that a screenshot-reading step extracts, which can itself be wrong). It is provided "as is", with no guarantee of accuracy, and is not a recommendation to make any specific play or wager. You are solely responsible for any decision you make at the table, including ones informed by this tool. Poker involves real financial risk — only use Kohunter alongside your own judgment, never as a substitute for it.
Every poker room sets its own rules on which third-party tools may be used, and when — some prohibit any external assistance while you are playing. Winamax has confirmed in writing that Kohunter can be used on Winamax. No other poker room has approved it, and we can't guarantee that using it is allowed by yours. It is your responsibility to check and follow the terms of the rooms you play on. We are not responsible for any sanction a room applies to your account, including suspension, closure or confiscation of funds, and such a sanction is not grounds for a refund.
You must be at least 18, legally permitted to play the poker formats Kohunter covers in your jurisdiction, and old enough to do so under your local law if it sets a higher age.
An account's first subscription starts with a 7-day free trial (a payment method is required to start it, but nothing is charged until the trial ends — cancel anytime before then and you won't be billed). The trial is offered once per account: subscribing again later is billed from the first day. After the trial, paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price shown in full on the subscribe screen before you confirm — pricing may change for future billing periods, with notice. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal linked in your account; cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period. Contact us at contact@kohunter.com for billing issues or a refund request — handled case by case while we're in early access.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you subscribe. By starting your subscription you ask us to provide the service straight away, so if you withdraw after your first payment we refund it minus an amount proportional to the days you already had access. To withdraw, email contact@kohunter.com within those 14 days.
Screenshot reads (precise mode, the Mystery bounty helper) call a paid third-party API on our end, so reasonable rate limits apply to stop one account from driving disproportionate cost. Don't script or automate calls to Kohunter, attempt to bypass its rate limits, or use it to scrape or resell our calibration data.
Kohunter's code, simulation models and calibration data are ours. Your own inputs and uploaded screenshots remain yours — uploading one to Kohunter only grants us the right to process it to provide the service (see the Privacy Policy for how it's stored and used).
Poker room names and logos shown on Kohunter are trademarks of their respective owners. They are used only to say which rooms the calculator is calibrated for; those owners have no connection with Kohunter.
We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms (including sharing access or abusing rate limits), or that we reasonably believe puts the service or other users at risk. You can stop using Kohunter and ask us to delete your account at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kohunter and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss — including money lost or foregone from a poker decision — arising from your use of the service. The service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
In any case, our total liability to you for any claim related to Kohunter is limited to the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the event giving rise to the claim. None of this limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Kohunter reads numbers from poker rooms' own screens, which they can change at any time. If a room changes its software or display so that Kohunter can no longer read it or calculate for it, we'll try to adapt, but we can't guarantee it — this isn't grounds for a refund beyond what the law requires, and you can cancel your subscription at any time.
We may update these terms as the product evolves; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, email active accounts.
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. If you are a consumer, this doesn't take away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
Contact us first at contact@kohunter.com — most issues are solved that way. You can also file a complaint in the Portuguese electronic complaints book, livroreclamacoes.pt. If a dispute isn't resolved, a consumer can turn to an alternative dispute resolution body: the Lisbon Consumer Dispute Arbitration Centre (CACCL), centroarbitragemlisboa.pt, or, for consumers outside Portugal, the European Consumer Centre of their own country.
